Why This Day Matters

PEARLs on the Green is honored to partner with Reach for Excellence to host 27 rising 9th grade scholars for a Discovery Golf & Leadership Experience at Bobby Jones Golf Course.

The scholars will participate in a beginner-friendly golf clinic led by PGA instructors, along with leadership and encouragement sessions designed to build confidence, curiosity, and personal growth.

Throughout the experience, scholars will also have the opportunity to engage with PEARLs on the Green members, guests, and community leaders through meaningful conversation, encouragement, and leadership exposure.

Giving young scholars the opportunity to experience golf, leadership, and meaningful connection at an early age is deeply important to us.

This event was created to provide Reach for Excellence Scholars with encouragement, leadership exposure, and an introduction to the game of golf in a welcoming and supportive environment — while also bringing together our community, members, guests, and leaders through connection, conversation, and shared experiences.
